관세청은 이달 1∼20일 수출액(통관기준 잠정치)은 282억 달러로 지난해 동기 대비 10.6%(27.0억 달러) 증가했다고 목요일(21일)에 밝혔습니다.

According to tentative data from the Korea Customs Service on Thursday, the country's outbound shipments stood at 28-point-two billion U.S. dollars in the cited period, up ten-point-six percent from a year earlier.

Working days in the cited period stood at 14-point-five, unchanged from the same period last year. The daily average exports during the 20-day span grew by ten-point-six percent.

 

반도체(11.6%), 승용차(15.7%), 무선통신기기(60.5%) 등 수출이 두 자릿수 증가율을 보였습니다.

Shipments of semiconductors and autos rose eleven-point-six percent and 15-point-seven percent, respectively, on-year, while exports of telecommunications devices jumped 60-point-five percent.

 

석유 제품의 수출은 낮은 유가로 인해 전년 대비 45.6 % 감소했습니다.

Outbound shipments of petroleum products declined 45-point-six percent on-year amid low oil costs.

 

삼성전자는 4분기 매출과 영업이익이 전분기보다 감소했음에도 불구하고 견조한 실적을 기록했다.

Samsung Electronics has estimated a solid performance for the fourth quarter although its sales and operating profit declined from the previous quarter.

 

동사는 금요일 실적 가이드에서 작년 10월부터 12월까지 영업이익이 전년동월대비 25.7퍼센트가 증가한 9조원이 될 것으로 기대한다고 말했다.

The South Korean tech giant said in an earnings guidance on Friday that it expected operating profit of nine trillion won for the October to December period last year, up 25-point-seven percent from a year earlier.

 

동사는 4분기 매출이 전년동분기 대비 1포인트 87% 증가한 61조원으로 추산했다.

The firm estimated its sales would be 61 trillion won for the fourth quarter, up one-point-87 percent on-year.

 

지난해 르노삼성 수출 물량이 전년대비 77.7% 줄어드는 등 8년 만에 적자로 전환한 데 따른 겁니다.

삼성전자는 2020년 전체 영업이익이 전년동월대비 29.5% 증가한 35조9500억원으로 추산했다.

매출 합계는 전년대비 2.5% 증가한 236조2600억원에 달할 것으로 전망됐다.
